Congrats, you're an F5 king.
Anyway, in light of this past month's games I think goal tending should be our #1 priority followed by a center and then a wing.
Not much time left before this season becomes a waste.. again... |

Maybe something with Grabovski and Lindbach in deal could work. |

would anyone else here rather package assets we wanted to use for a number one center and get a number one goalie instead!?
Kessel Bozak Lupul
Miller* Reimer
OR
Kessel Carter Lupul
Gus Reimer
*just an example. |

How about trying to get Ben Bishop from St Louis along with their first round pick for Schenn? |

I do not think Nashville is lacking in the center department. But can not say for sure, as I do not watch any Nashville games. I would say that LA would be the starting point for Burke.
I do believe that Steve Mason needs a change of senerie. It would be a risk, but maybe they could get Carter and Mason? |

I really do like Lindback but he isn't have a very good year.. then again he is only 23 years old.. Burke said in the interview last night that if they made a move for a goalie it would be to help the team now.. So I'm not sure that Lindback is the first choice |

Dont think Miller will be traded and if he does there no way Darcy trades him to the leafs/in the east...
That said Burke has to find a legit goaltender..If if means we land no forward/center than so be it... |

Not getting Miller. That would cost us way to much. Sure he is having a bad year. But that is one year out of how many?

Bishop doesn't hold enough value to justify trading Schenn for a high First. Just my opinion. |

I know, but it's a good starter. Would be better to just forget the first and Schenn and try to make a deal just for Bishop, 2nd rounder and a conditional 3rd if he re-signs? They have Jake Allen already in the wings and Halak/Elliot signed for a few more years, he's likely gone anyways. |

Only way I'm happy with Grabo leaving is if he brings us Jeff Carter. The BJ's I dunno though cause he's a UFA and they want to shed Salary not sign 28 year olds to 5.5 mill. |

oh I see, it's as simple as that. Trade a first round pick and a top prospect (do the Leafs even have one?) for Jeff Carter (because Columbus would definitely do that), then simply trade Grabovski for a first round pick to recoup the assets you traded to get Carter.
Geez, why won't Burkie do this, if it's that simple?
Leaf fans are just as delusional as Sabres fans. |

First off the Ruutu deal is ABSOLUTELY disgusting.....Carolina overpaid for him.
Second, you think Schenn will get a first round pick and STL great goalie prospect in Bishop?
ARe you a closet leaf homer? |

I agree with what u suggesting...Yes it would be better served if Burke used assets to land a true #1...

What makes you think that the leafs do not have any prospect to trade. Typical Buffalo fan |

Actually, the asking price for Carter is a 1st, prospect, and roster player.. Dreger already said that the leafs were offered a 2nd and a top prospect for Grabovski.. and that if they waited it would become a 1st.. So I dont know... do the math? 1st + prospect + Schenn = Carter |

I'm hoping Ottawa signs him this summer if he hits UFA on July 1st. That's also assuming we don't draft a goalie (hoping for Subban) |

Bishops a UFA lol he's far from a prospect or proven , Leafs get the short end of that stick no matter what team you cheer for. |

If Subban or Vasilevski make it to the second round, some lucky teams will get two huge steals. |
